Goals, Not Resolutions!

At least for me, you do you.

Well, hey there!

It’s a new year (yeah, because you didn’t know this already) and I’m making a list and checking it twice. And it’s not that creepy Santa list, you handle your stuff, and I’ll handle mine.

It’s a goal list for me instead of resolutions. I feel like goals are more flexible, whereas resolutions are more solid and usually have an all-or-nothing feel to them.

In 2022 I set the goal of writing my Portals series up to book six, and I did that. I wrote Sigils & Satyrs, Towers & Trolls, and Legions & Liches. Published book four, book 5 is with the editor, and book six is completed. I also wrote and published two Kindle Vella series (episodic stories) The Traveller’s Inn and The Savage Files. Oh, and the first three episodes are free, so check them out. I also recorded an published five new audiobooks, Beliefs & Black Magics, Demons & Daggers, 27 Thoughts on Profound Sayings, 27 Thoughts on Having No Regrets in Life, and 27 Thoughts on Steampunk!

My goals for 2023 is to record more of my current library and publish them as audiobooks, write Silver & Smith Chronicles books three through six, and continue my Vella Series.

I also am now getting sponsors for my podcasts; Talk of the Tavern, Write Night!, Steeling for Survival, Tavern Reflections, and The Traveller’s Inn (same as the Kindle Vella series, but as a podcast). I want to continue working on them and see where they go!

I’ve also been approached by multiple outlets looking to interview me for various blogs, podcasts, and shows. I am looking forward to doing all those things in addition to working on the writing and recording.

And all this is because of you reading my books and listening to the podcasts, and I can’t thank you enough for the amazing support!

With that being said, it’s time for me to get back to work, because January will be full of plotting, planning, and first drafts!
