New Books, New Audiobooks, & NaNoWriMo

For Sweater Weather and Pumpkin Spice...

Welcome Autumn,

This is my favorite season. I love the cool, crisp air. The smells of baked goods. The coziness of the weather all around, and wearing long sleeves without melting from the heat.

This is also the season I am most productive when it comes to writing. In the Portals series I’ve just released Demons & Daggers (Book 2) on audiobook format, and the narration was done by me. Sigils & Satyrs (Book 4) is available as a preorder in eBook and paperback, and if you order now it should arrive before the holidays. It’s a great gift to yourself (because we’re readers, and we do that sort of thing), the classic swords & sorcery lover in your life, or the reader that loves modern fantasy mixed with portals fantasy!

And for those of you not in the know, NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. It’s a great organization who encourages people to write 50,000 words in November. This gets people into the swing of things for their novel or whatever other writing projects they want to do. It’s full of encouraging things and community to keep you going.

I’m live streaming the writing of Legions & Liches, Book 6 of the Portals Series, and aiming to hit that daily word count. As of today, I’m doing great!

In Other News

• Towers & Trolls, Book 5 of the Portals Series, should be coming back anytime now and get a final cleanup before going to the editor.

• Outlining for Silver & Smith and the Quantum Hourglass is coming right along, and I still plan to take The Silver & Smith Chronicles to book 6 in 2023, including audiobooks. Book 1 & 2, Silver & Smith and the Jazeer’s Light and Silver & Smith and the Doppelganger’s Gate are both currently available.

• We received a new cat. His name is Tom, and he’s a tuxedo. He’s adjusting slowly, but well.

I’ve decided to include a photo of my cats in each of these updates. I’ll also give you a bit of information about whoever is in the photo.
