Then Portals 4, Sigils & Satyrs is Out!

End of September? I hope so!

When I started the Kickstarter, Portals Book 4, Sigils & Satyrs was written and with Alpha Readers. It came back, I cleaned it up, and sent it to my editor. It came back, I cleaned it up, and now it's with Beta Readers. I'm just waiting for them to finish up and send it back. Then I clean it up one more time and publish it!

Book 5, Towers & Trolls is with Alpha readers. Book 6, Legions & Liches, is in the outline phase.

Going Backwards

Book 1-3 has been published widely now, and are going into audiobook treatment. Book 1, Beliefs & Black Magics is out in audiobook, book 2, Demons & Daggers is being recorded right now, then goes to editing. Book 3, Mystics & Monoliths is prepped an waiting to go to the recording booth.

Looking Ahead

I am hoping to have Portals 1-6 published in eBook, paperback, and audiobook by the end of the year. Next year, I will start by getting Silver & Smith Chronicles, (Book 1 - Silver & Smith and the Jazeer's Light, Book 2, Silver & Smith and the Doppelganger's Gate) to audiobook, and being distributed widely. Then I will begin writing Silver & Smith, books 3 (Silver & Smith and the Quantum Hourglass), 4, 5, & 6. The last three aren't outlined yet, so I don't have working titles. I am hoping by the end of 2023 (next year) to have published each of these in eBook, paperback, and audiobook formats.

Making it Personal

September is never easy for me. In fact, it's one of the hardest months of the year for me. I've tracked it and September is the month that I lose steam, get overwhelmed, things go wrong, I drop the ball, etc. Historically, it's a really rough month for me.

And sure enough, September rolled around and took a bat to my knee. Kinda, sorta, literally. Every aspect of my life has taken a hit. Of course, there's always good with the bad. And I get to choose which to focus on (the good), but not ignore the other (the bad). To quote Dory, "Just keep swimming!"

But this year, I prepared for it! I've worked in down time, letting myself know that it's okay to have a little time off. Go ahead and take some time to unwind and not stare at 15 or 50 different projects and goals. I've got some movies I want to watch, a video game I enjoy (anyone want to join me in World of Warcraft?), and I will continue my diet and exercise plan to help combat the health issues and extend my time here in this reality!

So, it's all good. I've got this, and everything is moving forward at a fine pace. Even with everything going on, I've laid out a plan that moves myself, my books, and my writing career forward with the least amount of energy.

TL;DR - Book 4 by the end of September if things go as planned, and lots of other cool stuff coming!
